1. Scope and principles
These rules apply to all use of OTT Platform, including uploads, metadata, thumbnails, captions, live streams, comments, chat, reactions, polls, messages, links, sponsor material, integrations, APIs, and account activity. They are a development draft pending counsel and safety review.
Users must respect law, intellectual property, privacy, safety, and the integrity of the Service. Context, newsworthiness, documentary purpose, counterspeech, and artistic value may inform enforcement but do not excuse unlawful or imminently harmful activity.
2. Illegal activity and rights violations
- Do not use the Service to commit, facilitate, solicit, instruct, finance, or conceal unlawful conduct.
- Do not upload or distribute content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, confidentiality, contract, or other rights.
- Do not violate court orders, sanctions, export controls, consumer-protection, election, advertising, gambling, financial, health, or regulated-product laws.
- Do not impersonate a person or entity, falsely claim affiliation, forge provenance, or materially deceive viewers about identity, sponsorship, payment, or content authenticity.
3. Child safety and sexual exploitation
Child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual exploitation, trafficking, sextortion, solicitation of minors, or sexualization of children is prohibited. Apparent violations may be removed immediately, preserved, reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or authorities when required, and associated accounts disabled.
Do not share nonconsensual intimate imagery, sexual content involving an incapacitated person, hidden-camera sexual material, or threats to disclose intimate material. Adult sexual content and services are outside the intended launch scope and may be removed even where lawful.
4. Violence, dangerous activity, and self-harm
- Do not make credible threats, coordinate violence, celebrate recent mass harm, or provide operational assistance for violent wrongdoing.
- Do not promote or instruct self-harm, suicide, eating-disorder behavior, dangerous challenges, or substance misuse in a manner likely to cause harm.
- Do not sell or facilitate weapons, controlled substances, human trafficking, or other prohibited goods and services.
- Documentary, educational, recovery, or prevention content must use appropriate context and warnings and may still be age-restricted or limited.
5. Harassment, hate, and privacy abuse
- Do not target a person with sustained harassment, degrading sexualization, stalking, extortion, or coordinated abuse.
- Do not promote hatred, dehumanization, exclusion, or violence against protected groups.
- Do not publish private addresses, credentials, financial data, government IDs, medical records, precise location, or other sensitive personal information without lawful authority.
- Do not encourage others to contact, swarm, threaten, or expose a person against their wishes.
6. Fraud, manipulation, and spam
- Do not conduct phishing, advance-fee schemes, deceptive fundraising, fake reviews, counterfeit sales, investment scams, or false health or income claims.
- Do not buy or sell accounts, credentials, fake engagement, votes, viewers, clicks, impressions, or reviews.
- Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, scrape contact information, operate purchased lists, or evade communication preferences.
- Do not manipulate analytics, attribution, sponsor delivery, payment state, entitlements, refunds, disputes, or platform-plan usage.
- Do not share named operator accounts or evade operator-account allowances or the one-active-computer-session rule.
7. Platform and content security
- Do not probe, scan, exploit, or access systems, accounts, tenants, streams, data, or credentials without written authorization.
- Do not upload malware, denial-of-service tools, credential stealers, hidden miners, destructive code, or links designed to compromise users.
- Do not bypass authentication, geographic restrictions, concurrency controls, device limits, watermarking, encryption, DRM, signed URLs, or provider restrictions.
- Do not interfere with service operation, webhook verification, billing, moderation, reporting, evidence, or audit records.
- Good-faith security research must follow an approved vulnerability-disclosure process and avoid privacy, availability, and data-access harm.
8. Live-stream responsibilities
Channel owners must monitor live events, maintain a reachable operator, protect ingest credentials, and be prepared to pause or end a stream. Do not use live features for emergency dispatch, real-time targeting of a person, unauthorized surveillance, or activity where ordinary streaming delay could create physical danger.
We may delay, interrupt, restrict, or end a live stream without advance notice for credible safety, rights, legal, security, or provider concerns. The platform does not guarantee continuous moderation or immediate detection.
9. Community standards
- Stay on topic and disagree without personal abuse.
- Do not repeatedly post identical content, disrupt polls or chats, or evade moderator actions.
- Do not expose plot-sensitive, private, or confidential information without appropriate warning or authority.
- Moderators must apply rules in good faith, avoid retaliation, protect report confidentiality, and escalate urgent safety concerns.
- Community submissions may be removed, limited, rate-limited, or retained for investigation and appeals.
10. Enforcement
We may use automated signals and human review to investigate reports. Actions may include warnings, reduced visibility, age or territory restrictions, demonetization, feature limits, removal, stream termination, payout holds where lawful, account suspension, termination, preservation, and referral to providers or authorities.
We consider severity, context, intent, harm, history, cooperation, evasion, legal requirements, and the reliability of available evidence. We are not obligated to host content merely because it is lawful, and we do not undertake a general duty to monitor every activity.
11. Reporting and appeals
Reports should identify the exact URL, account, content, conduct, dates, evidence, reason, and safe contact method. Development reports may be sent to dave@badburrito.com. Use emergency services—not this reporting channel—for imminent danger.
Affected users may submit a good-faith appeal with relevant context and evidence unless law, safety, or an active investigation prevents review. Repeated, fraudulent, retaliatory, or automated mass reporting may itself violate these rules.
